Start with a Wellness Evaluation

Review when your energy changes, sleep quality, medications, nutrition, and any recent labs. Your PA-C can help decide which causes need further evaluation before considering supportive therapies.

Understand your starting point

Your Goals. Your Baseline. Your Plan.

Fatigue, disrupted sleep, body composition changes, or low libido can overlap. We review the whole picture before discussing treatment, with care led by Charmy Chanthabouasith, PA-C.

01 · CONSULT

Make Room for Your Story.

Discuss symptoms, priorities, health history, medications, and the demands of work, training, or shift schedules.

02 · UNDERSTAND

Use Testing with Purpose.

Your clinician selects and interprets labs in context, then explains what the findings mean for your next steps.

03 · PERSONALIZE

Follow a Plan That Fits.

Agree on options, costs, and follow-up. Track symptoms and relevant markers, and adjust based on response.

What can the men's health lab panel include?

The comprehensive men's health assessment may include the following, as clinically appropriate:

  • Hormones: total and free testosterone, estradiol, LH/FSH, and sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG).
  • Metabolic health: thyroid testing, a comprehensive metabolic panel, and a lipid panel.
  • Additional markers: complete blood count (CBC), vitamin D, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), and prostate-specific antigen (PSA).

Your clinician determines which tests are useful for you. Bring recent results; testing and timing are individualized, including for people who work overnight.

Focused Care, with Room for What Matters.

Open an area to explore what your consultation may cover. Treatment choices depend on your health history, findings, and preferences.

Hormone health & testosterone therapy

Men's health care includes evaluation for low testosterone. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) may be considered for appropriately diagnosed deficiency, using symptoms and confirmatory blood testing.

When indicated, delivery options may include injections, topical therapy, or oral medication, depending on the prescribed product. Follow-up labs assess response and safety. Tell your clinician if future fertility is a priority; TRT can reduce sperm production.

Women can explore individualized hormone care through our dedicated HRT service.

Medical weight loss & body composition

A medical weight management plan can combine nutrition, body composition guidance, strength goals, and medication when clinically appropriate, including GLP-1 therapy.

Discuss appetite, weight history, activity, and long-term maintenance with your provider. Follow-up supports adjustments and side-effect monitoring.

Sleep, recovery & sermorelin consultations

Recovery starts with understanding your sleep, training load, nutrition, and medical history. Shift-work and overnight schedules are part of that conversation.

Sermorelin is a growth hormone-releasing peptide included in our clinician's offerings. If you are interested, your PA-C will discuss current availability, evidence, potential risks, and whether further evaluation is appropriate. Benefits for general wellness, sleep, and body composition are not established for every patient.

Any prescription or compounded therapy requires an individualized decision and monitoring plan.

NAD+, antioxidant & nutrient options

These options are discussed after intake, with attention to evidence and a specific reason for use:

  • NAD+: a molecule involved in cellular energy processes. Its role in the body does not establish that NAD+ treatment will improve energy or reverse aging.
  • Glutathione: an antioxidant naturally present in the body. Discuss the evidence and risks for the proposed use and route.
  • L-carnitine: involved in transporting fatty acids for energy production. Supplement studies show mixed results for weight loss and athletic performance.
  • Vitamins and other nutrients: selected according to nutrition, lab findings where indicated, and clinical need.

Product, route, and monitoring matter. Injectable treatments carry additional risks; your clinician will explain alternatives and expected value before you decide.

Men's sexual health & libido

A private consultation can address changes in libido or erection quality. Your clinician reviews possible contributors, current medications, and cardiovascular health before discussing treatment.

Prescription options may include the combination product Olympus Peak when appropriate. Ask your PA-C to explain its ingredients, interactions, benefits, and risks for your situation; the consultation determines whether a prescription is suitable.

Hair restoration & skin-focused options

Hair restoration options include topical or oral medication and in-office platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Your clinician assesses the cause of thinning, scalp health, and treatment goals before recommending a plan.

GHK-Cu, a copper peptide listed among our clinician's offerings, can also be discussed. Evidence and safety depend on the product and route; injectable GHK-Cu has FDA-identified safety concerns and limited human safety data.

Prescription options require clinical evaluation. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; the FDA does not review their safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. Availability and candidacy vary.

Your clinician reviews sequencing, interactions, and the value of each addition. More treatments do not necessarily mean better results.

Trust & standards

Confidence Starts with Clear Standards.

Strive Pharmacy is our primary compounding pharmacy partner. When a compounded prescription is appropriate, pharmacy sourcing is part of the conversation.

Clinician-Led Decisions

Your PA-C reviews your history, goals, medications, and relevant labs before discussing a prescription or treatment.

Informed Choices

Discuss the intended benefit, evidence, alternatives, possible side effects, and total cost before deciding.

Ongoing Assessment

A follow-up plan considers symptoms, relevant markers, and tolerability so care can be reassessed as your needs change.

Why we primarily work with Strive Pharmacy

Strive’s published quality standards describe:

  • Licensure and accreditation: a licensed 503A pharmacy, with PCAB/ACHC and NABP accreditation reported by Strive.
  • Ingredient documentation: a Certificate of Analysis accompanies each ingredient shipment.
  • Quality testing: randomized potency testing multiple times weekly, plus sterility and endotoxin testing for every sterile batch.

These are concrete quality controls behind the word “trusted.” Credentials and requirements can vary by pharmacy and location; your care team can identify the pharmacy preparing your prescription.

We also work with other pharmacy partners when appropriate. Pharmacy accreditation is not FDA approval of a medication: compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and quality controls do not eliminate all risk.

Timeline & outcomes

Progress with a Plan—and a Way to Assess It.

Different concerns and treatments follow different timelines. Your consultation establishes what to track and when to reassess, rather than promising the same result by the same date.

01 · ESTABLISH A BASELINE

At Your Evaluation

Document your priorities, symptoms, current medications, and relevant starting measurements. Testing may be the next step before treatment decisions.

02 · REVIEW THE RESPONSE

At Planned Follow-Up

Review tolerability, symptoms, and any repeat testing your clinician recommends. The timing depends on the treatment and your health needs.

03 · REASSESS THE VALUE

Over the Longer Term

Decide whether to continue, adjust, stop, or seek another evaluation based on meaningful benefit and safety—not a preset package alone.

What outcomes can we track together?
  • Energy and recovery: symptom patterns, sleep, and daily function.
  • Metabolic goals: weight or body composition trends and relevant lab markers.
  • Hormone care: symptoms, appropriate lab results, and side effects.
  • Hair restoration: consistent photographs and provider assessment over time.

Improvement is not guaranteed. Lack of progress or new concerns is a reason to reassess the plan with your clinician.

Cellular & Metabolic Optimization FAQ — Wellness Therapies

Answers before you book

Is this program just for men?

No. Cellular & Metabolic Optimization is available to men and women. The men's health offerings add focused evaluation for testosterone, sexual health, recovery, and hair concerns. Women can also explore our dedicated hormone replacement therapy service.

How do I choose between a wellness consultation and HRT?

Choose a wellness consultation when you want help prioritizing several concerns or do not yet know the cause. If hormone concerns are your main focus, explore the HRT service. Your clinician can help coordinate the appropriate path.

Do I need to choose a therapy before booking?

No. Start with your goals and questions. The consultation helps you understand appropriate options, including whether treatment, testing, or referral is the best next step.

What should I bring, and how soon can I expect results?

Bring recent labs, a medication and supplement list, and your main symptoms and goals. Timing depends on the cause of your concerns, the chosen plan, and your response. There is no single timeline or guaranteed outcome; your provider sets useful follow-up checkpoints.

Can wellness care work alongside my primary care treatment?

Tell your PA-C about diagnoses, prescriptions, and other clinicians involved in your care. Wellness services complement ongoing medical care. Do not stop prescribed medication on your own; referral or coordination may be appropriate.

What should I know about NAD+ and peptide safety?

Evidence and risks vary by substance, formulation, and route. Compounded products are not FDA-approved. FDA has reported adverse reactions with NAD+ injections and safety concerns for injectable GHK-Cu. Your clinician should explain the proposed product, expected benefits, alternatives, and monitoring before treatment.
